It's been a long time since the Hearst Corporation has done collaborative journalism like this. This really I think raised the bar for the Hearst Corp to go out and continue to look at home run projects. As a parent of two children with disabilities who's had his own run-ins with the school system the separate reporting is long overdue. There's just so much that's going on in the schools that people aren't covering.
