The NBA's Flexibility in the Trade Deadline

The Spurs, they actually didn't hit the floor last year. If you were 30 million shy of the floor, how are we going to divvy up that 30 million? And it gets spread amongst the players who are on the roster,. Then they come to an agreement on how that will be spread. It doesn't impact the bottom line of the cap or the tax or anything like that. Because it's just basically a bonus. The team didn't pay enough in salary that they should have. So they paid out to the guys who were already on the team.
