Apple Mixed Reality Headset

The Financial Times is reporting that Tim Cook sided with Jeff Williams on pushing Apple to launch their mixed reality headset this year against the wishes of the design team managing the project. The company's industrial design team caution that devices in the category were not yet ready for launch and wanted to delay into a lightweight AR glasses product which would take another five years or longer. Former Apple engineers who worked on the device described the huge pressure to ship so yes you're right this is a real rosh act test I didn't like about oh the design team the heroes of thedesign team but at some point somebody has to decide is this a product or not says Steve Jobs.
