The Fallacy of Reification
John: There are these real ideas with Mormonism that there's a counterfeit to whatever God standards it. The fallacy of reification is a fallacy of ambiguity where an abstraction is treated as if it were a concrete real event or a physical entity. John: If you go search for the word happiness, you find they're not based on those four definitions. They're just based on some ephemeral idea that the speaker just doesn't have to define. It's whatever he believes it is at the moment.
