The Intensity of Attention

It is not your studies that will bear fruit but the intensity of your attention. The idea or theory that you are currently formulating, that seems so fresh and alive and truthful, will almost certainly be shot down or ridiculed in a few decades or centuries. We tend to laugh at people prior to the 20th century who did not yet believe in evolution; imagine how people will be laughing at us for the naive beliefs we hold in the 21st century.
