The Importance of True Fear of God in Preaching
A lack of true fear of God outing sometimes without anyone quite being able to put their finger on it, he says. But if you are deliberately cultivating a closeness with God that makes you wonder, and sometimes yes, tremble in his presence, that will create the sort of atmosphere that means people detect that. It helps cultivate an integrity. And most importantly, it means that rather than presenting the gospel as some package to show others, you find you actually delight in God himself.
