On the nineteenth of october, a man named robert holmes was on the phone to the police. He claimed to know the identity of the shooters who'd been terrorizing the nation. The following friday night, john dropped malvo off at a cemetery behind a strip club. John told malvo, quote, i don't care how long it takes you shoot a pregnant woman. Malvo sat there until two a m but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. And now he changed fas two, from a policeman and blowing up the funeral to blowing up a succession of school buses instead.
