The Importance of Open Source Software

I think Prusa's been incredibly successful. And his proposed license is just not an open license. It says that you can't just put those restrictions in place and still call it an open licence. No, but then there's a vast majority of other companies that are doing everything close source and they don't even have these discussions.Yeah, that's true. It is better to at least be somewhat open than totally proprietary. But you're right. It does tend to be these companies that have success and then that success starts to wane or they feel threats to that success. That's when they start moaning about the license.
