The Reason Senna's Steering Column Breaks
Senna modified the steering column in his car. He had like an extra six inches of a steering column in there and it was well, so there, he had a separate point of weakness in his steering column. And I actually think it broke. When you look at the film of him going off just before it cuts out, you can see him violently turning the wheel with no effect. But this is before the impact. So there's no dispute that the steering column broke. The question is whether it break before or after the collision.
