With my mother, she grew up with Nagasaki in the aftermath of Nagasaki so Japan was going through hard recovery when she was born. The bomb dropped 100 miles away from their house; then my father's grandparents not only did they survive the war, but my grandpa was a POW. Then my grandmother had to hold down the fort with four kids running a farm on her own. You should really look at what your grandparents did for you so that you could live the privileged life
