The Influence of Scent Cues on Bees

The interest in bees has been constant in classical literature, right through its age. People were talking about things which we now know to be pheromones. But mammals are a little bit more complicated than that. They've evolved large brains and can store an awful lot of information. That's so they can adjust their behaviour according to the information they've learnt before. And those sorts of responses that Francis has just been talking about, you can reiterate those responses just by producing this pheromone cue.
