The Optimism of Superman
James Gunn is fully mastered how to make James Gunn movies. Nobody knows the tone of his own scripts like he does. And I think that I've been a broken record about this, but Superman is corny and hopeful and optimistic. That's what makes the character worthwhile and special in my view.
