Reducing Rumination Is the Way to Deal With OCD
It's so important that we learn how to not ruminate because rumination is the thing that is keeping this doubting disease if you want to call it that. So something very, very important here with rumination is to realize that you have a choice and can choose to put our attention somewhere else. And when I'm working with my clients, I really like to focus on reducing rumination as one of the first things that people do. When you can take back control over dealing with your rumination, all of the other things become a little bit easier,. Because you're not spending so much time getting lost in your obsessions.
