How to Perceive Without Reactivity
When we undertake this as a training, we're making these choices of how to perceive based on wisdom. So we're perceiving in that way mindful and fully aware of whatever it is that's arising without reactivity. In both cases, they're conditioned, but one comes out of old habit, sometimes maybe skillful or for not. When we take it as a practice, we are actually making the choices out of wisdom, out of clear seeing.
