The Best Teams Trickle It In

There's no way to know people on your team without an investment of time. So when you first join the team, you do some, you know, you get to know you stuff. The relationship literature talks about the importance of self-disclosure. You can't build a relationship without people sharing something. And so typically what happens is we share some little bit and then if it seems like that was okay, maybe we'll share more next time than somebody else will share one little bit. That's how the best teams do it. It just trickles in. They know it's important so they make time for it.
