How Much Time Was It Taken to Make a Film?
Barry Jenkins: "We started shotless and as soon as we get a few pages in, almost everything we'd done up until that point became irrelevant" The film was less about coming up with a definitive shot list as it was discovering for ourselves the language of the film. We only storyboarded the most technical parts. And sometimes it didn't work and it was just about figuring out what felt right. But Plan B was always just do what feels right.
