The Polarization of Debate

The polarization of debate means that people are just not thinking. The fact that this person is saying something with which I disagree signals to me that our society is healthy. Don't you think we're witnessing now a time of foreclosure around discourse? More and more things are becoming taboo, that there's a re-emergence of censure.
