EA Research Training Programs
The next rung up or something roughly would be what i call uh a aligned research training programs like fellowships and internships. These are usually things along the lines of one to six month, can be part time can be full time sometimes paid sometimes volunteer opportunities where they have a lower bar so it's easier to get into them first. The Stanford Accentral Risk Initiative and the Cambridge Accentral risk Initiative both have roughly 12 week positions of this nature with higher acceptance rate than things like rethink priorities fellowship.
