Persuasive Psychic Experiences in Harriet's Traumatic Brain Injury
T l e is associated with psychic experiences such as precognition and out of body experiences. It could be that the brain injury affected her neura logy in a way that made her more psychic than she otherwise would have been. Harriet didn't attribute these to psychic functions, but to god. The two options are not mutually exclusive. To paraphrase saint thomas aquinas, grace perfects nature. So if psychic functioning exists, it's because god would have built it into human nature.
