Do We Have the Power to Sustain the Existing International Order?
The question isn't so much now, does the united states have the power to maintain something like the existing system? I think the question is almost one like, how bad do we want it right? Are we willing to make additional investments and sacrifices in order to maintain an international order that i would argue has served us relatively well? It'll be really hardd and costly, but i don't think there's any inherent reason, sort of in the the nature of global power amics, why we can't do it.
