The State Is Sovereign

The story that we tell ourselves about ourselves has evolved and grown to the point where the state gets to decide. The national story simplifies it to the point of abstraction. And what is more, then gets to tell you that you are allowed to kill some of those other who don't share your national story. A useful and final name that i want to give us is sarah cokley. She's an anglican theologian and a priest working in cambridge in england. Her book powers submissions, absolute brilliant book. But the one, the chapter that i am particularly interested in, is called cinosis and subversion. Soarah coakley is very useful here
