It's No Autobiography Is to Be Trusted Unless It Reveals Something Disgraceful

I think what people have responded to is that sort of impulse. We're just human beings on a journey, and we don't all have to play by these rules. That's the only way you get judged is whether or not you're rich. Anyone who gives a good account of themselves is probably lying since any life when viewed from the inside is merely a series of defeats. I consider that really wise because that's how I see my own life.
