I agree with what you say about sort of the scar and keeping the wound open But I think a memorial is about remembering what happened. Right over the spot where the atom bomb went off everything got completely flattened Obviously, but there was one thing that didn't amazingly there was like this Prefectural industrial promotional hole which somehow remained standing.
