The Impossible Situation in David's Life

David's father-in-law Saul and later his son Absalom had both overturned righteousness in Israel. Whoever spoke to David saw all of these events and came to a frightening conclusion. They concluded at the end of verse 3, what can the righteous do? It's all hopeless. There is nothing we can do. We are in an impossible situation.
