Jimmy Akin's Mysterious World

The Two-Legged Chief
Lakota referred to humans as two legs, in contrast to land animals which were four legs. Black Elk's vision was of a crucified wanakie standing against a tree with arms outstretched and wounds in his hands. This savior was now in a glorified state, that is, light surrounded him and his body changed into all colors. He sees this figure calling all people to the flowering tree of Wakhan kankan. That is the resurrected Jesus.
