What Is the Point of This Story?

This week we go through all of 17, chapter 17 of matthew. The story takes place on the mountain of mount tabor but i don't think it's there. I have more ideas than i used two years ago about what to do with this story. At the end of this episode, i'm not going to have like a great resolution.
