The Importance of Self Control
Self control is a cognitive process present by self, regulating behaviour in pursuit of personal goals. It also serves as an executive function necessary for a person goal attainment. Long or high life spans are also linked to good, healthy self control. And so behavior decisions are implicitly designed to have both physical and social reasons to do them.
