In borush keski oblique does two things it's the genitive and then provides the stem onto which a bunch of different other marks happen. The verb system is actually quite regular you have some weirdnesses and the verb stems but once you've memorized what goes in each slot it's pretty darn predictable. It has these compounded case endings for location so in at on and near all have locative um ablative and allative sensesso you know so two near from near at near something that's reminds me of languages of the caucuses too.
