Is It an Anti-Rational Meme?

All Arabic poets 1,700 years ago were proud of how well they could memorize like poetry. There was shame around anything about writing or something no the pride was in memorizing. So maybe they were following an anti-rational meme like that. And so they had creativity it was passing like that but not through things we can detect now because it wasn't tool.
