Is There a Barrier to Science Communication?

I'm anerd. I don't mind diving deep into stuff, i know a couple of others who probably would look at papers. But i think having the summaries or the vidios or of some kind to get people interested and blog posts where it is simple,. you know, it's clear, it makes sense, and people understand what's happening, i think that would make it easier. For me, the over simplification only happens if the person isn't curious enough or diligent enough to pay attention to what it is t they're talking about.
