The Weird West

In real life, I mean, in our actual history. Usually when we have an influx of immigrants to do something like that, they become what's seen as the national enemy. They've tried to minimize the impact in this book of they don't want to make anybody seem bad. The maze is also home to some of the most unique creatures you can find in the Weird West. Chief among these are the great beasts known as maze dragons. Even great white sharks are on their menu. But there is terrifying tales of wolves that walk on two legs and hunt the flesh of humans.
