The Lower East Side Is a Great Opportunity for Restaurants
I was still contemplating what it might be like to close down streets and let restaurants have access to street space in a way that hasn't been done before. I think there's a lot to learn from this because it was an area that wasn't getting a lot of love. The next wave is coming in on division street and Lower East Side, boarding Chinatown. And there's some cutting edge stuff and some very, very hip happening,. stores opening up and not just restaurants.
