The Evolution of the Neanderthals

All of the individuals they could test had high levels of background in breeding. The closest modern day comparison would be what we see for a mountain girl is mountain girl is an endangered species historically there's been fewer than 1000 individuals in the wild. And they live in quite small community groups, maybe 20 or so individuals are chagraspy in the Neanderthals. So that's very interesting because I suppose we compare that then to our own species homo sapiens and how we differ from Neanderthals as those differences might tell us something about our own species evolution.
