Right wing thinkers like Evola or Anne Rand, there's this sense in which you feel as a reader, if you're taking on board their stuff non critically. And that you are especially, Evola talks about you're an aristocrat of the soul rebelling against modernity. I mean, really, you're just a dork with no friends, but you can read that and feel like I am one of these special ones. That is a very compelling strategy for any author to take because it does work.
