Joanne grew up in alor, where the afternoon siesta was a normal part of life. As he got older it became harder to make a living off of ag culture so he went to valencia for more opportunities. But joan never completely left alod and decided to return when he retired. He wanted to get more involved in his home town and promote more progressive policies.
