Is It a Long Term Trend Caused by the Pandemic?
In terms of the labor market right now, a lot of people are seeing what's happening, and i think they are confused. Normally, when the employment rate is relatively high, it's because employers don't want to hire anyone. That's very different from what we see this year. Part of that is lit the economy was ripped apart. It takes a while to match evon up to jobs, get everyone back in it. They got employment insurance as played a role. Now the bigger problem we've had through many, many decades is more bein, not enough employers on o hihre people,. And downward pressure on reages.
