Are We Losing Our Ability to Solve Problems?

i fear that we are losing our ability to solve problems of any sort, because the pandering among our tical leadership has reached new extreme levels. i think we are at risk of becoming a nation so mired in cynicism that we are no longer able to move forward in a productive way. It is this polarization that's been entrenched, not just in our political apparatus, as you said, but in the way now our politicians behave. And even beyond politicians, are national leaders writ large, whether it's the supreme court or other leaders.
