The Impact of Conflicts on Food Prices
For many African countries, it's been entirely different. Foreign exchange vulnerabilities have compounded that initial food price crisis. Even in some North African countries, there are very key vulnerabilities given the dependence on Russia-Ukraine as a source of grain. There is an associated concern that this could bring about a great deal of social instability. These are still unanswered questions.
