In the seventies and eighties, i was fortunate to live in a relatively rural place with relatively clear skies on cold winter nights. And so me and some, some friends i grew up would be out there observing the night skies,. getting to know that map of the skies. It was not a popular thing for scientists to be doing in 19 80, but e is on johnny carson, right? I want to get back to the book. In fact, i think there are about 230 pages of humanity's relationship with mars until you get to the first time we successfully visit there with mariner for bill.
