The Human Brain Is Like That, Right?
In order to develop curiosity, i think in humans and ai as well, you have to kind of have two systems that are somewhat at odds with one another. One is like seeking surprise, seeking something that's new and unexpected. And the other is constantly trying to predict everything so it can never be surprised. I think that is what's going on in the human brain, in some sense. It may well be that the brain is like that.
