The Free Will of the Creature and the Freedom of the Conscience

Calvinists reform people have always upheld the free will of the creature. And you see that here in our confession of faith, you also see that in our respective books of church order where we're given freedom of conscience on a lot of issues. In Christ our wills are increasingly conformed to God's will. We increasingly think his thoughts after him and increasingly freely without compulsion choose to obey and love him. The honest truth is that we sin freely, we sin willingly and we know it. Which makes it all together far worse than most people think.
