The Importance of Quantitative Methods
I was a late adopter of Apple products. I think the term quant was probably coined right about 1979 or 80, and I was a quant right from the get-go in 1977. If I was still involved in systems programming, which is programming at the bit level, I might have found the Apple one to be just fascinating. But that's how I paid my way through college with systems programming.
