Dewey is an advocate for a different form of education, which has been termed progressive education. He thinks traditional education can squash the imagination and squash the desire to inquire. Dewey proposes science as a model, taking an idea, holding it conditionally until it's been tested and invented,. And then accepting it again, conditionally, d until it's proven otherwise.
