I got my agent with my first book okay so yeah it was called what dark thing. I ended up winning a prize the white review who are really amazing like art's literature publication in the UK and that gave me a bit of a boost. Even now when I write a book I'm like you know there's no guarantee it's gonna be published Like um so I think there was that sense of getting so close I was a bit like if I can just keep on going even though it's like horrible but you know like just don't give up now.
