The Importance of Fitness in Medical School

David Perry was diagnosed with lymphoma when he was a third-year med student. He took naps in between seeing patients and would wake up every hour or so for an hour or so to take another nap. His friends told him that it's just what happens as a medical student, but his condition quickly deteriorated. Perry is now on the road to recovery after losing 70 pounds during this ordeal.
