How to Train for a Crash
During that week, generally what I like to do is cut volume, but leave intensity as much as we can. So you may go to the gym, you may still lift heavy, but you may only hit one high top set and that might be it. We like training to you can potentially end up with some of Tim Gabbard stuff, which is called a load spike. And then now your soft tissue may not be prepared for that as you come back just because you had that whole time of no loading at all.
