The defining feature of major depressive disorder is a major depressive episode. In the i c d, it's pretty similar, although a fatigue is more prominent than in t s m. The best and most recent formulation of a typical depression is by brenda pennix from the netherlands. She has identified what she calls immunal metabolic depression which is a reformulation of ato ppressions. Thats got the same symptoms, because brenda framed anto cluster an her epidemological sample. But it doesn't have the sensitivity that i mentioned nearly as prolibly as in classical formulations.
