She retired from a position at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017, citing the poisonous nature of the scientific discussion around man-made climate change as a key factor. Dr. Curry advocates so reprehensible for a non-alarmist approach acknowledging Earth's rising temperature with a grain of salt. The grain being in field research and a refusal to shut the doors of science to those with contrary views and findings.
