Is There Any Cause for Optimism?
It does seem like the west has found its sense of purpose again. Is there any cause for optimism? Does it make you a little bit optimistic? So i am cautiously optimistic, a partly because i see how the zolinskis speeches and the s of the ukranians have really inspired people in the west. And i think people do understand that this is a fight for democracy and an open society. You know, somehow we'd allowd the idea that democracy is something you can really fight for and really care about to slip away from us.
