Is There a Difference Between Awareness and Acceptance?

She refers herself as crippled. And yet, she wants to be seen in her woundedness. I do think that self-awareness, however, is not met with an acceptance. There's a difference between awareness and acceptance. So this is a woman who I do think is actually quite self-aware.
